The Hand that Holds

The Hand that Holds is a solo game that focuses on your relationship while following the folk tale of Tam Lin. The basic tale involves Tam Lin's loved one rescuing him from the Fairy Queen by keeping hold of him while he's being transformed into different beings. You the player will create your beloved and reflect on your relationship through journaling, audio recording, or simply imagining the scenario in your mind. Gameplay can take anywhere from half an hour to an hour long.

Content includes light body horror and potentially unhealthy relationships, depending on the story you wish to tell. All artwork is available through the public domain: featured artists include the work of William Morris, Arthur Rackham, Warwick Goble, Katharine Pyle, and Florence Harrison. All other graphics and layout was done in Canva.
